It features a preamp circuitry that minimises digital distortion while using the same high performance ESS DAC found in high-end AV receivers. Yamaha’s proprietary power supply ground configuration, called DAC on Pure Ground ensures that the power supply will not affect the sound quality. It also features a 48-bit digital volume control which allows great precision than conventional analogue controls. Additionally, a metal chassis supplies the stability necessary for powerful audio reproduction.

Player mode

The WXC-50 allows you to turn off PRE AMP mode and use the device as a simple network audio player - this means you can adjust the volume even by using your AV receiver. What’s more, it is easier to switch to player mode without affecting your set volume.
