Advanced YST II for Awesome Deep Bass

From the house of Yamaha, the Advanced YST II (Yamaha Active Servo Technology II) brings together negative-impedance and constant-current principles to drive the speaker cone with event tighter control than the previous version. The system utilizes Advanced Negative Impedance Converter ( ANIC) circuits, to dynamically optimize effective speaker impedance and maintain excellent linearity which will result in more stable and accurate low range response and a much higher sound quality.

New Twisted Flare Port 

The all-new Twisted Flare Port takes benefit of the extensive subwoofer development experience. The shape of the port helps diffuse the vortex of air generated around the edge of the port by creating a smooth flow of air. This minimizes extraneous noise which is not present in the original input signal and provides clear and accurate low frequency reproduction. You can now experience bass which is lifelike, rigid and best in class.

PWM Digital Drive High Efficiency Amplifier 

The built-in power amplifier delivers stable power output of 130W with high efficiency while reducing power consumption and heat production. What’s amazing is that it does not require an output filter coil which results in extremely low noise and distortion. The high speed transient response is also great and the dual feedback circuit minimizes turbulence by applying feedback twice, resulting in higher sound clarity.

Front Control Panel for Easy Operation

The power and volume buttons which are used frequently are laid out on the front surface of the subwoofer for easy access. Moreover, it’s inclined at a 45 degree angle which makes it all the more easy to use. There is an LED indicator above the power button and it’s visible even in a dimly lit room. The system control terminal can be linked to the amplifier power to automatically turn the power on and off. Additionally, there is also an Auto Standby Function which means that if there is no signal input from the amplifier for a fixed period, it switches to a standby state automatically. This helps reduce wasteful consumption of electricity.
